The Napoleon Society of Ireland was established to celebrate the intellectual, political and philosophical links between Napoleon Bonaparte and The United Irishmen.
Our aim is to promote intellectual debate and research into the relationship between Napoleon and Irishmen such as Robert and Thomas Emmet, Wolfe Tone and Miles Byrne who was a Captain in Napoleon’s Irish Regiment.
The Napoleon Society of Ireland is affiliated to the International Napoleonic Society.
